Best Configuration for PtMP with NetMetal 5 RB922UAGS-5HPacD & T

Hi everyone. I would like to obtain configuration details for Point to Multi Point network design.

I have one NetMetal 5 RB922UAGS-5HPacT (3 antenna) for access point (base station) and total 20 client NetMetal 5 RB922UAGS-5HPacD on the outside. All of the clients are in LOS with AP and located 1.6 km away from AP. Signal strength is usually between -75 and -80 dB for each. Every client need 300 kbps bandwidth, total usage is 6.2 mbps in general. I have packet drop and latency issue with this configuration. However, I would like to locate clients 2 km far from AP. When I locate these client 2km; connection drops, packet drops, latency problems are occurred. Is there anyone who face with similar problem?

On the base station we are currently use 3 antenna and 2 for client modules. Our configuration details are shown below. Is there any value that we should change or should set different value? For example, is only-n band mode or only nv2 wireless protocol is suitable for this type of connection?

Thanks in advance. Bests.

1.you need to post export for wireless settings of AP and (a) client .
2.your signal strength is way to high for the distance you specified .(i have clients 5 km away and get -50 to -60 dbm in a congested area)
3.why are you using “all default rates” and not just “default”
4.set nv2 cell radius to 10 which is lowest ( your furthest client is 2km so why use 30km) then retest in my current experience nv2 is a stable protocol
5.check for cleaner frequency to use with “freq. usage” in wireless tab
6.regarding the bands you can set it to a-only because you dont need higher modulation because you say you only want to give them 6M in total

Check these things first and test it like that but your signal strength is really bad for the distance your clients are located
What CPE equipment are you using ?
