Hi,
I want to connect two buildings that are about 500m apart using a wireless point to point link. I’ve been using RouterBoard hardware for a while, but have never worked with point to point connections, so I don’t know which equipment would be best suited for the task.
Could anyone give me some suggestions or point me to documentation that might help me make the choice?

I am using a pair of SXT Lite5 (http://routerboard.com/RBSXT5nDr2) units.
I am going ~680 meters, and with their default power settings they are quite overpowered. I have turned the power down a lot.
I get easily 100mbs through the link with no issues (I am pushing a 55mbs cable modem connection through it so there is lots of headroom).
I have had them up and running now for a few months and am quite happy. They have survived a few big rainstorms (with no discernible signal issues) as well.
I am line of sight over a vineyard and the fresnel zone is clear as well.
