Best Linux for RouterBoard as FTP Server and client

I want to run a RouterBoard 220 as an FTP client and server. Can anyone recommend a Linux distro that would be best for this?

The idea is that the RouterBoard acts as a kind of FTP relay where files are uploaded to it at high speed and it then sends the files to another FTP server at low speed at night. I need secure client accounts as the high speed side to the server will be from an untrusted network.

Thanks,
Guy

I would vote for Debian, but generally it is a matter of taste or of what is your nearest pro familiar with.

We have a sample debian image that is ready to boot with instructions on the RB200 section of the http://www.routerboard.com page. There are instructions on how to write this to CF from Windows or Linux. It is part of the SDK.

Thank you gentlemen, I’ll look into Debian on the routerboard site.
