What is the best version of ROS for BGP routing on RB 1100 AH ?
around 5000 routes and 500 Mbit/s
And can I enable DNS resolving on this board? Wll be it ok? For thousand customes.

4.16 or 4.17
i wouldnt run dns server on the same box …
5.0rc11 works also fine.
And in v5 there is much better support for multi core systems than in v4
