Best ROS version for RB133's ?

Hi

What is the best 3.x version for RB133, for maximum efficiency, I know some later versions make it slow down a bit, even when removing all the unwanted packages.

I have found the best version is V2.9.51. Some of the functions that are available in the V2.9 version will not work on V3.X on the RB133. I think it may be a memory challenge.

I have same experience. Interesting why MT not proceed 2.9 version :slight_smile:)

I do not like to second-guess what MikroTik will tell you, but I will bet it would be something like:
“The RB1XX series are now End-Of-Life”. Since the equipment is unsupported…

I use v3 but you need to disable everything you don’t use in packages.

I use RB112, more than 50 connected to one central AP forming my backbone. They all work grea with 2.9.51.
I’ve tried twice to upgrade (to 3.9 and now 3.2), but unsuccesfully.
I had to downgrade, CPU just can’t manage 3.x
My advice is: don’t use 3.x unless you can’t use 2.9.51 for what you need.

which functions u are talking about which will work on v2.9.51 and not in version 3.x
