Hi,
I need to configure Mikrotik Router to loadbalance 4 WANs , the Clients will not be directly connected to the LAN interface , Only one IP address will given to the LAN interface (all the clients will be noted through this IP) , my question is : what is the best config to be chosen for “per-connection-classifier” for a good allocation of bandwidth? For me I selected “both-addresses-and-ports” I think it is good for this kind of scenario I’m correct or there is a good one?.
Thanks very much
then torrent client will be very happy, it opens 500 ports get loads of bandwidth.
you have to do this at a level where you can see the client IP. Not sure what you can do if they are all behind NAT
Thank you for your reply , torrent is not my issue now , I have a ONE540 router before Mikrotik that block that.
Yes I know that the best scenario is the clients should be connected to the LAN Miktrotik, But I have no choice in this case , this is the only solution and I need to know what is the best solution to be applied for the best utilization of all bandwidth.
If that’s the case, I’d agree “both-addresses-and-ports” would suit you best.
Thank you
I will apply it and monitor for a while to see how the graphs looks like ![]()
