Best Setup for RoadWarrior VPN on OSX

Hey,

So I know there are a ton of ways to get this going but I was wondering if someone could start me in the right direction. I want to setup a RoadWarrior VPN client on my OSX client and connect it to my home network. My questions are

1. Which type of VPN should I use? PPTP? L2TP? IPSec?..

2. Which client on the laptop should I use? IPSecuritas, Shimo, Viscosity, VPN Tracker, Built In?

Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use L2TP over IPSec with the built-in client myself.

Also have PPTP setup as a fallback option to try if the remote network won’t cooperate with that. (but PPTP should be considered an unsecured connection these days)

Did you just follow the instructions on the wiki? Or did you have to do anything special?
