Hi Guys
I am working on a new link that needs at least 40mbps full duplex actual throughput. Currently getting ± 8mbps
The link is short at about 6km and I have space for 4x antennas at each end. However, there is some serious interference at both ends. channels 5755 and 5850 seem to give me 8mbps full duplex with my current setup so I plan on using 5755 for upload and 5850 for download.
I want to use MIMO because of the spatial multiplexing which will reduce interference, I hope.
I’m not sure if I should use 2X2 MIMO link each for upload and download respectively or 3X3 MIMO. With 3X3 mimo I will have to use 2x grids + 2X dual polarised flat panels to get the 6 chains at each end. With 2X2 MIMO I can stick with 4 grids to get the 4 chains
So what do you guys recommend? 2X2 or 3X3?
