best solution for p2Multi point

could anybody advice me, what is the best hardware for p2multipoint solution including antenna models and router boards.

there is no good answer to this. To make a AP to hotspot users, in a 100m circle, need some other hardware, than 2 km trough a big forest. and speed, to CPE 8km away, need something else.

A good solution is some sectors at the AP - 5ghz, combined with some 2,4ghz stuff. so its possible to give net to all users.

IF making hotspot to users not so far away., NEVER use an antenna bigger than 5dbi. signal at 0 dbi is like a football. 20 is like a dounut. (or golf ball, compared to the dounut)

if free line of sight, and you don’t need more than 20Mb/s - a Omnitik would do just fine.

If you want more speed, some sector, and some more wlan cards and routers.

I use a lot of ubnt 90 degree sector, and 411AH as AP, and r52hn connected to antenna. This will give something like 50Mb/s to 5 km. If you want more speed, use SXT’s as AP. The G version give you l4. (And hay, aint it soon a 90 degree SXT?).

There is no really good ansver, but a lot of sulutions. Just se what is your goal? and what do you want to spend. A cheep solution using omnitik, and maybe some less speed, or a hig end solution, using 800’s. r52hn and expensive sectors.

not that easy to get line of sight for p2Multi point

Present I am using Mikrotik 433AH with single r52hn and omni antenna with 16dbi. if i configured it as point ot multi point connction with TPlink WA7510N does it work fine?
or do i need any special configuration?
