Best way to block sites.

Hello,

I am trying to find which is the best way to block sites ?

I am testing Layer7 Protocols for example : ^.+(facebook.com|youtube.com|instagram.com).*$

As i can see these no longer works, due to app on mobile and because of https protocol + i have read it will load router ?

Which is the best way you will recommend me to do it ?

best way is to add hosts do STATIC DNS Cashe and redirect requests to router! This will not use your processor power!
