Have a remote site 40 meters in the air running 2.9.38.
I have 2 questions,
What is the easiest procedure for remote upgrading when having only the package files (RB532a). Second, will it survive? 
It has 2 wireless interfaces and one active Ethernet but its doing nothing so thats why i wanted to test on this bandit.

both methods might be used to install beta version.
FTP upgrade - packages uploading to router, then reboot.
Netinstall - if your PC connected to the same network with router, you can set ‘system routerboard set boot-device=try-ethernet-then-nand’, run netinstall on your PC.
Probably, you can install beta to another location, in order to avoid any problems with Null modem cable access, as 40m is not too easy to reach.
I find the easiest is to use winbox.
Open the file window and drag the npk files to the root of the router files.
Then reboot the router.
