I have a RB750g running as a hotspot , with 4 x Engenius M2000 mesh hanging off eth 1 ( 1 local connected, 3 remote meshing mode)
The RB750 does a basis fetch checkin to a php page so i know its working, but im wondering what the best way to monitor the entire network would be?
I use ClearOS in the office - could I get the remote MT to create a VPN on boot up so I can use Dude or something? Is it possible to allow access to the IP range of the Mesh units (192.168.254.1-4) in this instance when the hotspot is runnin on 10.5.50.10-254?
Or should I replace ClearOS with another MT to make VPN easier? At the very least, is LUA capable of pinging the 4 Mesh nodes and sending me a fetch so I know they are on?
any help or advise on how bes to monitor this would be greatly appreciated.
