best way to monitor traffic over multiple connections

Good morning all.

I have 2 cable modems plugged into an RB1100 in load balancing mode, and all seems to be working grand, but my bandwidth usage has gone to hell over the last couple of months. Even my ISP have noticed!

I installed NTOP on a linux box in the house yesterday, and have been monitoring traffic, but it seems to also tell me about traffic inside the network too… Is there a way that i can watch only the traffic going from the router to the modems? thats the “important” traffic in this case…

Thanks!

How about using the feature Torch on what ever interface you are monitoring on the MikroTik Router?

Torch looks interesting to tell me whats going on now, but what i need is whats going on now and previously, plus a running total… So, minimum would be how much traffic came in and out of each WAN port, but i would also like to see where it was going and what ports… but the big thing is to be able to know how much went and came in on each port…
