Best Wifi client solusion for camper

hello everyone.
I have a question. There camper and at parking want to connect to the free internet. Offen you stand far away. What is better in such cases.

  1. USB Alfa adapter (1500mW) and laptop gives Internet on wifi soft ap
  2. Stx lite (qrt 2) as a client and something like Hap Lite as home AP
  3. Grove or metal with a sector antenna, and Hap lite as home AP
    Maybe receiver with its own antenna will be better. Omnidirectional that would not catch the best direction of reception.
    What is more important transmitter power or antenna gain in my case.

I would go with option 2.
Or maybe to use some other indoor device that has poe out to power sxt directly and spare some parts and cables around…
