Dear, I m trying tonset best setting for my Hap Ac2 (2,4 and 5 ghz). Currently, my pc supports 5Ghz with 700/800mbs wifi max speed (nominal, description reported by Windows). But data transfert no more then 300mbps. 5 ghz settings are:
5 ghz A /N /AC
20/40/80 Mhz XXX
freq. 5260
TX / RX all chains
Not a lot.
If you got more than 1 device connected then thats basically it. With airtime fairness you can get around “half the bandwith”.
Wifi-qcom-ac enables that. If you dont have that installed then you cant expect anything faster than you already got. the old wireless driver arent really fast.
WIth just 1 client on a cap ac running wifi-qcom-ac i got around 700Mbps with 2 it was 400Mbps.
I second that. With the old drivers, 300-400Mbps was the absolute maximum you could get. Install the latest RouterOS on that thing, with the latest wifi-qcom-ac drivers, and you should start seeing around 650Mbps easily. That’s my experience with wAP ac Gen2 and cAP ac, which are the same platform as hAP ac^2.
What do you exactly mean by “best setting”? Are you only interested in single device throughput?
In regards to the settings (assuming it is with the wireless driver):
Is 802.11a required?
How is the frequency usage on 5260MHz?
Did you set country code?
What is the connection rate while performing the speedtest?
What kind of speedtest are you performing?
What wireless card is in the pc?
What version of RouterOS and firmware are you running?
