I just installed the first time the ROS 7 development version and could not make contact to my provider over PPPoE. When I looked into my interfaces screen I saw that ether1 was not up and that one is connected to the media-convertor for the fiber connection.
It could not stay above a MTU of 1500 and when I enter it a higher value it states that it could not set the new and higher MTU (code 6).
Update: after a while I noticed that I had totally not traffic coming in from the outside except when I self initiated that traffic by browsing to a site. IKEv2 worked fine. I am not using a bridge on this router. Really safe but not wished for.
I went back to 6.46 beta and it worked again looking forward for the beta 4.
