BGP 3.30 Routing-Test experience

Hi,

as MT seems to iron out some long-time Bugs in their BGP-Implementation
it’s time to upgrade.

I’ve had some problems before 3.28 where sometimes
the network announcement (with network statement) vanishes.
This seems to be fixed in 3.28. In 3.28 I’ve had one router crashing
once in a way that routing works but it was impossible to log in to this router.
Reboot helps but I’ve to drive to this router. So this version was some way
better but not as stable as a bgp-router has to be.

So now we’re on 3.30 routing-test looking forward what happens.

Running for 6 hours now.

Our uplink-config is 3 RB1000. Each of them getting full feed interconnected with IBGP.
All three running OSPF to inject default route into our network.

So what’s your experience with 3.30?

Stefan

Running without problem - 2 bgp routers also talk ospf internal been fine for a week now.

Hi,

same here. Running for 13 days now without a problem.

EBGP with a full routing table + IBGP ~1000 routes
