BGP ebgp session doesnt reestabilish automaticaly.

Hi,

We’re having some problem with ebgp peers. if for some reason the bgp session goes down, and come back on from remote peer, the mikrotik bgp state for that peer keeps in “OPENSENT” state and i have to manualy disable and reenable the bgp session.


There’s any way to monitor the bgp sessions via SNMP?

Remote end still thinks that BGP session is established. After hold time expires BGP will establish session normaly. You can set hold time less than 180s
