Ok, i am getting the hang of this bgp thing slowly but i need one last help.
i have 2 peers both sessions are established and i am recieving all the routes from both.
i am using 2 filters one for incoming to accept any routes recived from both hosts
the second filter to on passthrough my prefix
both filters are set on both BGP peers but and this is the strange part
the first peer only recieve the one update i have to offer
the second peer receives ALL the updates in my routing table (228000)
needless to say i dont want that, and they filter out all the others so that only my prefix is active but why would it work this way?
or can someone suggest another way of doing it so i can reconfigure as it is causing a real pain!
