Please add in bgp neighbor local-as command. It is different then confederation.
Remote peer will see first Your local-as and then Your BGP number in AS-path. That way You can have another neighbor as standard AS peer.
This can be useful if we have 2 upstream internet providers , local-as can do great job , but If using confederation then we will have problem with bgp overlapping of prefixes since 2 different AS-s announce the same prefix.
Also when using local-as command then we do not need /30 part of ip addresses to interconnect our AS and local-as .
