Hi,

since MT released the CCR-1072 with 8x SFP+ Ports, what would the best practice for this kind of network setup?

4 different Datacenters, connected by a ring network.
4 mt ccr 1072 routers
6 upstreams (10 GBits each), (2x DC1, 2x DC2, 1x DC3, 1x DC4) to different networks with bgp

are there some best practices right now?
as i know there problems with bgp (only singlecore, currently supported, not much snmp queries)

It really depends on the speed of your data center interconnects as to how you want to network that together

What is it you want to pass between the datacenters?

Public traffic?
Storage replication?
VM Mobility?

We just published the first part of a review on the CCR1072 last week that includes a data center design use case with the 1072.
