Post your config with export hide-sensitive. That takes a lot of guesses away.

And…
Code 71 stands for Long-Lived Graceful Restart (LLGR) Capability. There is a mention in the wiki that this has been replaced to the community settings.

Thanks for response but code are not 128 but 71 , have already write to support with files attachment but still no response , this router is in a production have 1024ip down and have no info is a problem with Cisco or mikrotik ..
If no answer I need downgrade back to 6.xxx

There was an answer for your code. If you have read the topic you know what to do.

Ouch! Then you better go back to 6.49.2 until they fix v7.

Any news on this topic? It’s still not fixed … :frowning:

The amount of BGP and related fixes in each new v7 release frankly is a bit disappointing…

“unsupported capability received” warning message is not the reason why BGP session is not established. Typically it is incorrect locall.address configuration. Recheck if all the BGP connection parameters are correct. If you think they are then check logs on remote side and also packet sniffer on why session is closed.

Hi mrz,

i found out that it’s BFD .. which is configurable but then i found some documents which shows that BFD is not yet implemented in v7?? Are you serious Mikrotik?? We can’t got back to ROS6 with that CCR2004 because it tells me that minimum is 7.1.1 … so the bought devices are useless for us at the moment.

WTF? We need BFD for faster convergence and i cannot understand why you release the new fancy-shiny-V7 without it …

BFD is currently work in progress.

Yes, unfortunately that BFD is taking way to much time… in the latest beta there was an update to netwatch to include similar features (was on the wishlist for 10 years, but was not in v6), I would have hoped that instead work was spent on BFD as it would be a lot of work to re-work all our use of it to the use of netwatch.

Similar to others’ experience, we are held back from using v7 until BFD functionality is added. Glad it’s being worked on though. Hopefully soon it will be released.

BFD is a work in very slow progress, he already wrote that on Sat Sep 04, 2021 9:55 am: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/v7-1rc2-development-is-released/151458/155

This is unbearable. I have a 3000 USD CCR2216 that I can’t use due to Ros V7 bugs and unimplemented features. Going Huawei and never looking back I don’t care if the chinese spy my ISP, at least they hardware works

CCR2216 work properly my ISP, if you have any problem with ROS 7 you can consult with me.

@soemoeaung

Do you have any BGP peering with Cisco devices? We are having problems only with Cisco routers and support is unresponsive

BGP peering is not working with Cisco routers for us either on V7.4.1 (nor on 7.5.rc1).

But it’s not a BFD issue for us - we have BFD disabled on both sides.

Opened a ticket for this issue and haven’t heard from them for more than two weeks now. What kind of support is that? Not even a reply that this is a known issue…
