I have an upstream who has added his own AS multiple times before announcing to me. This means that that link is not really used for outgoing traffic.
Can I remove extra ASN from an incoming announcement?
I am sure the upstream provider did this by design for a reason, best will be to agree with them routing policy
Just prioritize by setting local pref or weights in your end.
