Hello

does any body knows if ROS v6 complies with RFC 7606 which describes the behaviour of BGP with wrong update messages.

this RFC describe process to reject malformed updates
old fashion to manage this was to close the BGP session now with the RFC 7606 it justs reject the malformed update

v6 does not comply with RFC 7606

Do you plan to add in v7 because it is available On Cisco, Juniper and Quagga
Implementing in ROS will help us have less full BGP session restart because of malformed updates or communities not complying to the RFC
