Hello,
We have a CCR1009 which we are about to replace with a CCR2116. It is a BGP router with about 1 million ipv4 routes and 200000 ipv6 routes.
I am not sure how long it would take to populate these routes again when a new router is installed.
Any suggestions to minimise downtime?
In perfect conditions less than a minute
Thanks MRZ. Much appreciated.
If it is that fast there is no issue.
It was my understanding it could take more than 20 minute with ROS v7.

Interesting information. Thanks!
I’ve actually been wondering if it would be feasible to set up a testlab to test things before installation.
I have various other Mikrotik systems (one RB5009) or maybe a Linux system we could rig up as a BGP provider.
Any suggestions?
