Be sure you have ROA records so that you can be certain you were able to announce your prefix successfully, check for HE looking glass so that you can traceroute your PI address from various location and also if you are multi home make it sure that no one will use your link to become transit from others that’s the first order of business you should do you can do this by learning routing filters.
