Big problem on 5.6GHz, cell tower

Setting up an AP on a tower that also have cell sectors, I have a big problem.
Although I use RB433, R52 with a 12Dbi 5400-5700Mhz omni and clients have RB133C & RB411 with 15Dbi enclosures, I get very weak signal. (-88, -92 etc) and SNR of between 3 and 10. Replaced pigtails, cables, cards, nothing helps. Changed frequencies. It seems like the best so far is 5600MHz, but some clients does not even connect, furthest client is about 2 km. Omni is rated 5400MHz to 5700 MHz. All used to work before with a thick fibreglass omni, but vandals broke it. The only omni I can get now is a ‘thin’ type. Country setting ‘South Africa’

What could be causing this, or more important, what could be done to fix it?

Thanks in advance

Just wonder know, why you deploy it the based station with omni directional but not sectorial antenna say 90 degree type to help save the tx power and to get more better sensitivity with the client?

Are you clients LOS ekkas? There are more important things here we would need to know, But if it worked with the last omni I suppose it should work now as long as it was placed at same height and location. It may be interference, But dought full with 5.8ghz, I would suggest checking to make sure you have your card set to the right antenna a or b in wireless tab under antenna mode. play with that see if that dosen’t help/fix it. You may want to try upgrading to latest ROS , but to better help you we would need more information about your clients and if they are LOS or not or any other information you can give us, It could be a bad antenna. try a different brand. -Jordan
