I have a CCR1016 and configuration is very simple:
1GB-Internet->CCR1016withProxy->LAN
so…
I use that router JUST with proxy WITHOUT NAT/MASQUARADE
The speed JUST with proxy is maximum 150-180 mb/s A
I see what is the problem but I can’t resove myself.
THE PROBLEM IS: WEBPROXY WHO USE JUST 1 CORE !!! I see the rest of core almost 0-1% but ONE core is 100%
WHY??? This question is for Mikrotik Developer.
P.S. If I activated NAT the speed is ok but I don’t want to use nat.

the built in proxy will never support the speed you want. The box was not designed to work only as a proxy.
If Proxy is what you want, build a Linux box and use Nginx.
The box have proxy server in settings and sufficient ressources.
The proxy is compiled to use JUST 1 core. I think that is the problem!
It is NOT normal to say “The box was not designed to work only as a proxy”
If I want to isolate my LAN from outside the proxy is a very simple secure solution.

You bought a device called “Cloud Core Router”, you did not buy a device called “Cloud Core Proxy”.
It is not normal to expect a device that is designed to route at high speed to act as a proxy server.
Yes, it has a proxy feature, just as it has a basic DNS and basic DHCP.
You may use it as you wish, but just know that MikroTik isn’t going to rebuild it as a multi-threaded Proxy Server.
The processor used in the device is NOT a general application processor, it is a dedicated NETWORK processor.
That said, it is not a single “just make it use more cores”. That would require a different type of CPU.
