sir i want to know about giving a reminder about bill payment to one of my client with his Bound Mikrotik IP address.is it possible to do with help of winbox.
Not sure about winbox but i use a basic web server and direct the client to payment reminder webpage it is very effective and clients pay very quickly.
I also use payment reminder for pppoe clients. Once there account expires, they can still login, but all of there request forwarded to local web server page showing account expired refresh it page.
I used RadiusManager next service option, but it can be done for plain mikrotik also. You can also setup reminder to be shown before end of the month for few minutes only , afterwords user can continue his browsing.
Just use the common logic used for payment reminder.
