I have a MikroTik 750GL as my main router and a I’m using a Linksys EA4500 in Bridge mode for wifi. Currently I can access the MikroTik admin page via 192.168.88.1 and the Linksys setup page via 192.126.88.100 from any computer on my network.
How would I go about blocking access to the MikroTik admin page and Linksys setup page when the connection is from a computer connected via wifi? I would like to allow access only from a computer that is connected via ethernet?
That’s not gonna work since he is using a separate wifi device.
However if this device is connected with one cable, usr that interface on the block rule.
Blocking access to the wifi device itself can not be handled by the routerboard because traffic never reaches it.
I meant the interface leading from the wifi. Anyway, there is such interface from which traffic to port 80 can be blocked. Access to linksys has to be blocked on it in the similar way - or enabled from ethernet only - depends on its possibilities. You can also enable only some whitelist of addresses that should be able to connect to port 80 regardless from where they are trying to.
