Block Duckduckgo

Hi

New user here, so apology if i missplaced my thread.
Anyone know how to block the duckduckgo browser both on android and pc? The trafffic doesnt even show where it is communicating to both ports and ips (except the blocked websites they were trying to reach).

My fw rules also dont work with duckduckgo. I limit some video traffic. But when it accessed through duckduckgo, then they are just not working.

I do not think there is a way to block any browser.

You can add DNS duckduckgo.com to 127.0.0.1, it will help some. You may examine when someone uses duckduckgo and look at all url that opens and adt 127.0.0.1.

You mean the “https://duckduckgo.com” ? You can identify with TLS SNI matcher using name “duckduckgo.com”, as it’s using that name in it’s cert.

If you just block it this way or with DNS, just go here:

https://www.hidemyass.com/proxy (or other URL proxy or VPN)
add
https://duckduckgo.com as URL and hit enter.

This should be the same.
https://www.hidemyass-freeproxy.com/proxy/en-ww/aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbQ

So to hide/block some 100% are not easy.
