How to Block Sites On Lan.

Like I want to block google.com so any of my Lan user cannot access this site.

You can block web sites using proxy access rules http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/How_to_Block_Websites

another option add in address list and block using firewall rules

Hello everyone,
I had, and as a mater of fact i still have problems with blocking sites. I used flowing procedure http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/How_to_Block_Websites_%26_Stop_Downloading_Using_Proxy and everything works like charm. In first 20 min. Than internet is starting to be very very slow. And eventually i cant open sites like yahoo.com or Google.com. Rechecked all the setting twice, and still don’t have clue it is like CPU on RB cant check all addresses on time… or… dunno. And there is 10 PC in LAN not 100 so i guess its not too much for this RB.


Any ideas? :open_mouth: I am using Mikrotik RB 433 and OS v3.6 with L4 License.
