Blocked by Mac Address

Hello all,
I have a TP link (WR940N) as my DHCP server and Mikrotik metal 2shp as AP( NO DHCP).

I have blocked some users (Mostly Phones ) by MAC addresses so that they cant connect to the network at all through MAC Filtering on the TP link.
Problem is whoever tries to connect through the mikrtoik AP gets on the network with no issues yet they are blocked and gets internet but those who try to connect direct to the TP link can’t.
What could be the problem?

I am blocking through TP link because its the DHCP also it makes it easy to block and unlock all by just one click

MAC filtering is local to the router and only for WiFi AP function.
So you need to do that on both your TP link and your MikroTIk separately.
