blocking users to a printer
how can i achieve that. i’ve tried blocking the ip of the machine its connected to but not working.
Post a network diagram (is the router between the user and the printer?) and IP addressing information for client and printer.
my network is proxied.
assume i dont want 192.168.2 & 192.168.1.3 to print.

yes, you should block NetBIOS on the switch
Here is a simple png picture. 
It looks like 192.168.1.5 is a printer server.
What (IP address) do you want to block from doing what (IP address)?
