Blocking Windows Updates ?

Can someone help me figure out how I’d block the Windows Updates that are forced in Windows 10?

I’m currently on metered internet, but they allow 12-5 AM open for large downloads and unmetering.

So, I’m wondering if I’d be able to figure out a way to block the Windows Updates, then later turn that block off (like say Wednesday Morning at 1 AM) manually , update the machines, turn it all back off again ?

At this time we’re not even considering going to Windows 10 due to the FORCED updates at any time for wired connections (thus, you can’t set it to “metered”) .

From doing a google search, wouldn’t “Wsus” be for a Pro edition of Windows 10 ? (instead of Home) .
