Blocking Youtube Mobile and QUIC Protocol 2021

Good Day All

Is there an updated method to block Youtube as an app on both Android and iOS via a Mikrotik and not an external service?

The current rules I have block browser based entries without an issue but mobile seems to still work.

I’ve tried Layer 7, Mangle, TLS, Address List Entries etc but mobile seems to keep working. With and without additional firewall rules and with Fast Track enabled and disabled.

Other 3rd party routers has a tick box option to block Youtube for example and it works but cannot seem to figure out Mikrotik.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yeah, I did. The solutions provided, non 3rd party wise, does work for browser based streaming but proves ineffective to block the Mobile Apps. So in short, Mobile apps proves to be a headache with Mikrotik.
