… Plugged in a xr5 and an sr9 into a rb532a with a 48v 1.2a (Switching) poe supply and to my liking both xr5s tried now cease to work period.
Ive read around the forum people being able to use both the xr2 and cm9 … etc in one board without head ache.
Im stumped, any help would be appreciated.
I hope Im not screwed here.
I have a been running RB532a with XR5 and SR9 with PoE (48V @ 400mA) for about 3 weeks now, so far no issues.
What else did you try the XR5 and SR9 in to check if they were functioning? (I am assuming by not working that you meant that they didn’t show up in the interfaces on RouterOS)
Well they are both showing up as the correct interface but are not transmitting any signal … also the status light on one is very (extremely) faint and on the other unit it stays brightly lit. This is not suppose to be which is why im to the conlusion that they are both blown, im a bit irated right now as to why but im open to inputs…
If anyone else shares this same problem, plz post … it would save many others the headache.
This sorta stuff leads one to drink … lol
can they scan for AP?
are they switched in ap-bridge mode?
just go through all the settings carefully.
Hmm, luckily enough the cards started transmitting/receiving again… but as said before the diagnostics leds are not functioning … Ill still go ahead with the rma tho.
Wouldnt want a car that goes fast but the speedometer doesn’t work.
Much thanks to all that replied to this post.
Regards.
