Bonding active-backup switching send an email

I’m using bonding with active-backup mode and i need to send an alert email when the bonding interface switch to the backup link.


Is there a way to do this with a script ?

Unfortunately you can’t, there is no parameter to check which link is currently used.

Active backup without alert reporting is like a boat with lifeboats but without flares.
