Bonding in 3.30

Hello,
I have a fairly simple bonding setup: two links to my ISP, each of which are plugged into an ethernet port on a RB450G. I have it configured so the fastest link is the primary and the slower one is the backup link. I’m using Arp monitoring, and everything used to work great. I don’t remember what version I was running, but I upgraded to 3.30, and I started noticing that I was losing up to 10% of my pings to anything after the RB450. I simply disabled the ethernet interface for the backup link, and pings are stable again.

Does anyone know if the active-backup mode has been broken in 3.30 or if there is a better way to achieve what I want.

Thanks,
Joe

Also,
when using ALB or TLB modes, I notice the majority of my traffic always gets routed over my backup connection. I can’t seem to find anyway to set some sort of path or priority for which interface to use while utilizing these modes.

thanks,
Joe

Does anyone use bonding who might be able to shed some light?

a few hours ago I have tried bonding on Intel Dual-port NIC, ROS v4.2, balance-rr mode. connected one cable, got high packet loss, don’t know what to do - even in test lab ‘bonding’ interface is not working normally :frowning:
