bonding multiple vpn tunnels to remote datacenter router

Hi, this is my first post so thanks for having me. I’ve looked at other threads but couldn’t find all the info I needed so I decided to start a new thread.

Please excuse my horrendous diagram, it does not conform to any network diagram standards but I hope it helps visualize what we are trying to accomplish.

We have 3 x adsl connections 16mbit/768kbit (same speed, same location, same provider) and I would like to bond them as one 48mbit/2304kbit minus overheads.

We have a rb1100ahx2 L5 at a datacenter on a 100mbit link.

The 3 adsl connections are terminated via ppoe client onto a rb2011L-IN L4

We would basically like to extent our local network inside the remote datacenter (layer 2) in such a way so we would appear to have a SINGLE aggregated connection to the datacenter and thus to the internet.

Whatever the protocol used, the end result must be true bonding and not load balancing.

What would be the best way to do this with the least overhead and with failover?

Some people in this forum and elsewhere have claimed to have done exactly what I have mentioned but don’t offer any info as to how they it.

It would appear that the PEPLINK (well known wan bonding company) solution works by bonding PPTP VPN tunnels.

According to their website:

Peplink’s Site-to-Site VPN Bonding aggregates VPN traffic across multiple Internet links into one big pipe. PPTP
VPN provides a secure remote access of the network.

This is exactly what I need. Anyone have any experience or can offer some advice?
