Bonding two wireless links hangs when cable plugged in

Help Please, I am trying to bond two wireless links together because the LHG60 link is not reliable enough drops when raining and I need some resilience and redundancy, I also need some extra throughput.
What happens is when I connect the second link transmitter it just pulls down the throughput to virtually zero, the second link is made up of 2 x Ubiquiti Lightbeam AC GEN 2’s

I think it detects the interface link to the wireless unit as soon as the cable is plugged in and not the actual over wireless link.

How can I avoid this.

Have you really used /interface bond or you have simply made the ethernet port to which the second wireless link is connected a member port of the same bridge as the first one?

Better provide a diagram of the network and configuration export from both Mikrotiks, see my automatic signature for a guideline.

I have used /Interface Bond but before doing that I removed the two interfaces ether1 and ether2 from the bridge then after adding them as slaves to bonding1, I have balance rr selected as mode, I then added the bonded interface to the Bridge, the throughput drops to virtually zero when the two cables are plugged in, if I unplug either cable the throughput comes up, so I tried active backup with a primary selected, if the primary wireless link goes down it does not switch over because there is still an Ethernet link to the radio so it does not detect the drop, I then tried active backup without a primary and it allowed 2 cables to be plugged in at remote site but when I tried the same at main site it went down.

I now have mode broadcast selected at main end and active backup without a primary selected at remote, ( when I have access to remote site I will try broadcast at that end as well ) but I am not trying to configure remote site from main site until daytime and weather permits access to remote site, both cables are plugged in at both ends but a wireless link has not yet gone down to see what happens and I am not risking it until I have access.
