Do you have anywhere in the network running Netinstall ?
It should have proper configuration, address to give to the router, when it is booting from the network.

i know the setup is right i can put on any other board and it netinstalls its just the two 133 that give me the error if i plug in my labtop direct to the rb i cant get into it via ethernet
i can just get in via serial

Try to install the latest RouterBOOT (firmware) version. You can download it from routerboard.com webpage,
here are the instructions for the upgrade,

run Hyperterminal program,

  1. switch on the RouterBOARD, hit any key to enter to the RouterBOOT;
  2. click ‘g’ - upgrade firmware;
  3. select ‘s’ - upgrade firmware over serial port (use option Send File from
    HyperTerminal program), use Xmodem protocol.

Where did you purchase the board ?

from
http://www.maxcomm.co.za/

its the rb411

it worked fine then i just didnt work on the ethernet side the wireless works with no problems but the ether side is dead

Try to upgrade the firmware on the RouterBOARD (instruction above),

Contact your distributor for the help if the latest version and latest firmware won’t help you.
