So we experiencing a strange issue at one of our sites. for reference this is the setup:
BB 1 & Node is a new Powerbox Pro, BB2 & client are regular Powerbox units. Bandwidth tests are fine from BB over its wireless links( the 10.200.0.x LHGAC’s) to the other sides. However if I do a bandwidth test from the BB2 to the other side of the one link( 10.200.0.163) I barely get 5Mbps, however its perfectly fine from BB1. Bandwidth test between BB1 & 2 is also fine though.
I am at my wits end on this one now, all my clients further down the network that go via BB2 to BB1 don’t get more than 3-4Mbps on a single TCP connection.
Is this a issue going from 1Gb to 100Mbps? is this a bridging issue?
I have picked up the port on the remote side LHGXL5AC was dropping & jumping between 100Mbps and 1Gbps, that seems to be resolved this morning I am monitoring it though.
However the bandwidth test from BB2 to the LHGXL5AC plugged directly into BB1 is also limited to 4-6Mbps single tcp stream. What I am picking up though is that the during that test the LHG interface goes to 100Mbps( there is between 85-90Mbps client traffic on the line). If I test from BB1 is goes up to 200Mbps+. Could it be related to the Powerbox being 100Mbps causing the bottleneck? Even though the powerbox interface is not reaching the full 100Mbps.
