I have an RB1100 that I cannot access AT ALL. I was in it yesterday, as I have not been in a very long time. I never got around to learning the device honestly. However, I decided to give it a second whirl. So, the only thing I did was “reset system configuration” from the system menu. I didn’t even check “no default configuration.” So I’m not sure why it’s behaving this way. Anyhow, it rebooted and died. It has power, but I can’t find the MAC on winbox, can’t get in over serial, can’t get in over web. I also tried running netinstall, and I’ve tried booting it with both the soft reset button held, and booting it with the PCB pins shorted, which seems to do absolutely nothing. I’m pretty pissed here, can anyone give me some guidance on how I can try to recover this thing? Also, the green light does “dot, dash” “dot, dash” forever. When I boot it holding the soft reset, the green light flashes for a bit, but then the blue light is the only one lit.
