Bridge as Gateway.

I have a public address space with a gateway of “x.x.x.1” on a router provided by our fiber provider. On our Mikrotik router connected to the fiber router we have a bridge with an IP of “x.x.x.2”. When I speedtest from a host even though the gateway is set to “x.x.x.1” it shows the network as “x.x.x.2”. My question is should I use the bridge IP address as the gateway on the hosts.

You haven’t mentioned what IP the host is set to. A pure bridge is a level 2 device. If the device can be accessed via an IP number then clearly it has some level 3 functionality but that doesn’t necessarily include L3 routing functions.

Is this “bridge” a RouterBoard? Config?

Its a cloud core and i’ll work on getting a config.
