Recently I started more hardcore monitoring of my network. I needed continuous monitoring of state of all bridges. I added nice extension to ROSInfo, so I could discover when MAC address switches from bridge port to another bridge port. And found out that MikroTik’s Bridge Hosts doesn’t work as it should. It works within first few hours after reboot, after that time there are many entries missing or switched. In logs I can see that sometimes bridge is switched with bridge port. After reboot everything is back to normal…
normis? should i write to support? should i attach supout? it’s quite a remarkable problem.
To fetch data from MikroTik I’m using:
