Bridge hAP lite to a CAPSMAN cAP2n using WDS

CAPSMAN working fine with the manager on a RB951G-wHnD and 2 cAP2n APs under CAPSMAN control.

I have 2 SSIDs, one on the main wlan interface, and another vap.

I now have a hAP lite with devices connected to ether2 and ether 3. I’d like the hAP to bridge wirelessly to one of the cAPs.

I realise that I can’t add a WDS interface to CAPSMAN, but I can log into the CAP and add a WDS interface underneath wlan1. The hAP won’t connect though.

I also realise that trying to bridge the hAP in simple station mode won’t work.

I have also tried configuring the hAP in station and station-pseudo bridge mode, but although it connects to the CAP and I can ping the hAP, I can’t get clients to receive DHCP from my main router, or connect out to the network.

Should I be trying to use pseudo bridge, or trying to get WDS to work?

cheers!

Anyone any pointers please? Thanks!
