Bridge on Intel platform

Hello there

I have not been able to configure a working bridge on a couple of RB220 with ROS 2.9.10. When trying the same on RB500, I had no trouble.

The symptoms are, that you can set everything up correctly, but no traffic (neither layer 2 nor layer 3) can pass the bridge. However, two neigbor routers are able to see each other, such that the neighboring system seems to work.

Any ideas ??

I assume you are bridging Ether to Wlan? if so what mode is the Wlan running in? AP? Brige? Station?

Good point ! Both routers with problems are running station mode - the others bridge.

OK - it is solved. The two routers with problems both had the wireless interface as station. As soon it was changes to bridge everything worked as expected.

The only problem is, that I don’t understand why you can’t bridge an interface in station mode ???
