Hi all,
I just bought two CRS112-8G-4S-IN to test them in a running network. Now it’s based on industrial switches (Moxa, ethernet direct) and cisco, there are also routerboard present but used simply as wireless transparent bridge.
It has different redundant path in different zone of network (it is distribuited in a 100 square km area).
There are one untagged vlan and different (10) tagged vlans, every switch has RSTP enabled on every port!
Now the problematic part… I want to reply this situation on the CRS, I’ve seen that RSTP is not supprted in switch configuration (when are you going to introduce this?) so I create a bridge with every ports added to it.
And under the bridge i created the different vlans. Until now everything ok, every port is a trunk port.
Now I want that port ether6 is an access port for vlan6: i removed it from the bridge, i created a new bridge called br-vlan6 and added to it vlan6 and ether6. It works but i don’t have RSTP on it!
And now I want that ether1 is an access port for untagged vlan…how can i do this?? I’m not able to find a solution…
Hope on your reply, because these are simply things that every managed switch do. I want to try mirkotik crs because I feel very good with your router product, but in this case I’m very shocked of this situation.
