On a core router I would like ask with 40+ bridge port vlan’s on a single interface what is the recommended split-horizon setting ,
(1) should they be all the same (horizon=50)
(2) should all 40+ have different setting
(3) or same number for a network segment
Hey. Depends of how you want to block L2 traffic to your users. Split horizon is just a L2 filter/limiter for the same horizon group number.
At the moment they are all set to horizon=100 is this the correct setting!
if you wanna block them from each other, this is correct settings
